To Lindsey
Thank you, my friend, For what you have done, When I cry you reach to me, And tell me it's alright. When the tears streak my face, And the day seems dark and grim, You take me aside, to in my eyes, And make me smile within. I appreciate your every word, For no true mean thing, Have you uttered yet, Just honesty with truth a ring. You smile, you laugh, And redheads will take over the land, Keep telling yourself every day, You changed a life turned sand. Perhaps I should end this poem now, On dangerous ground I tread, You know of what I speak, perhaps, I think it's girls I dread. |
