Today I met a superhero,
Shining brightly in her cape,
Sent to rescue those her friends,
Who had jumped but too late.
As blazing she took to sky,
Against the stary backlit scene,
I knew I would meet her again,
In a nightlife more serene.
But during that brief moment's stay,
I learned a bit about her,
Over a drink and piece of pie,
Who could live without her?
And she shook my hand,
Which into a hug she turned,
And she was gone in blaze of light,
But I knew she would return.
