"Don't the stars look beautiful?"
I asked to you beside me,
The only respones given,
Is a smile, so lightly.
But radiant is your face,
As by moonlight seen,
Found in a romantic place,
While senses are keen.
I brush, slowly, back your hair,
As it falls towards your eyes,
Touching you with loving care,
And listen to your sigh.
Into those eyes I do sink,
A lonely sailor on the sea,
Yearning for the deepest drink,
With only a canteen, empty.
But the spell is broken,
With the sound of nothingness,
A silent, but heard yen,
A fullfilling of blissfulness.
And to you the words I whisper,
Colloquial, yet still so fair,
"I love you," in a soft purr,
That barely shakes the air.
