Home : The Collection : Nothing, Silence, No

Out of the pit of blackness of the mind,
Into the awareness, grey, like coal,
This world it brightens so,
But you cannot see no change,
A rotting fills my limbs,
And I feel my organs dying,
Nothing but painless agony,
But you cannot feel the nothing,
You must hear the silence...no,
The soundless patter of feet,
A falling of snow,
But you cannot hear the silence.
Here with my fragile mind,
In agony I weep,
Who can feel the pain I don't,
See the light I seek?
And can you hear the silent sounds?
That fill the world all around,
Leaves turning green to brown,
And my mind turning black.
If you were to claim my fear,
Into your face I laugh,
Ofr you cannot have so,
Or, these ailments I would lack.
But you speak in wordless voice,
The unquestioning answer,
Worse than all I feel,
You're the stage without a dancer.
