No Reason Left to Live
The dragon soars aloft, Looking over its domain, Looking for his enemy, Old, but with name. Ages since seen, Longer since heard, Possibly dead, possibly living, Somewhere waiting. A cry breaks the silence, And arch-rival has returned, Attacking from above, Upon the living king, Ripping downwards, Tearing through wing. The ruler scream, Pain filled his eyes, He turned to defend, His land, his ties. He rent the neck, of the invader, Tearing with claws, Bringing blood and pain, The challenger attacks back, Rending the monarch's face. The ruler responds, With a spell, A burst of flame, And the enemy, Was no more. |
