My Friend, my Love To my friend, my love: Standing where I am, far from you tonight, I offer this hope to you, And, if you take it, should you want, My love at any time, It is not necessary to even call, You shall have all of mine. And I will never lie to you, say words untrue, But give you an answer straight, and fair, The one you need to hear, Guiding you to your best life, Because you, I hold, so dear. And in this moment, of my endless love, I want to thank you for these things: Your love, Your laughter, Your brilliant smile, You, that makes my heart to sing. I promise you, that you will triumph, Through this troubled time of yours, Finding out that when you emerge, You�ll be stronger than before. But at every step that I am not at your side, It is I who carries you, I shall never leave you behind, This, my promise to you. To hold your hand, and to your eyes, Tell you my words to caring love, I would give anything, By the grace of our God above.
