Home : The Collection : My Brother

He was the brother I never had,
With him I shed my blood,
He shared my every desire,
He shared my boiling blood.
To me he was a guide,
He was a friend to me,
To me he showed a path dark-lit,
That before I was, blind to see.
Through grief and hardship,
He struggled on through with strength,
Pulling me along with him,
Against what we fought against.
He dedicated his life to me,
And I, to him, mine,
We sought to strengthen eachother,
To prepare for the coming time.
Back and forth we tossed what came,
Till a solution was reached with ease,
For together we could take anything,
A truth that set us free.

My brother he still is, to this day,
Though I feel we have grown apart,
I want him to know, how I feel,
He is still in my heart.
And if that day comes when in need,
He cries out to the air, though not longer young,
I will come on knightly steed,
And again we will fight as only one!
