Indy
Black companion of my life, Retriver of hidden stones, Doggy shining, doggy bright, Doggy, devourer of bones. I say goodbye to you, Biding fare thee well, I will ever miss you my friend, That I know so well. Tears streak down my face tonite, I cry and I weep at a loss, The loving protection given, A comfort when I am cross. Through the good and bad, You have been my best friend, Never leaving my side, Even at what seems the end. How I shall miss your bark, The ever loving wagging tail, The times you would look, And seem to secretly smile. Your brown eyes so knowing, A singing voice worse than mine, All through our growing, Forever you seemed mine. Life is so fickle at times, Your should be in your prime, Your life is taken away, Far away from mine. I say goodbye because I love, And I will always care, My doggie companion you are, You were always there. A final goodbye to you my friend, The last wave of the hand, Why are you taken away from me, Why must it all have to end? |
