Burning desire fill my heart, and flames through my soul,
This life I live, boring and what, undone,
Where is the heat, the passion, the desire?
The chance to live but one more time, in your arms?
Here I call out to the clouds, but no answer calls,
My own voice echoes back in a crescendo of sounds,
I grip my hair, and sink to the ground,
My legs not able to support my weight any more,
I cry in my dream to live again, to live but once more,
To be taken back to where you now stand,
I weep and cry, and the tears run down my face,
Wetting the ground below my eyes, tiny raindrops,
A sob wracks my body, and I cry out again, in sorrow,
Where will I see you again, and when?
My cries repeat, and fall silent.
There is grass all around me, and the mountains still,
A quiet breeze only whispers with your voice,
Deepening the stabbing pain within my breast,
Free me of this love I feel, and let me go,
Free me...
