To the woman I've never known, But each night I've dreamt about, My darling angel, from a land, Way too far away. Many say in eyes they get lost, Myself, I'm swept away, By the ocean's pulling tide, An embrace sweet with love. A blushing, modest, sweeter face, Has never to've been seen, A face so full of joy, Pictured in my dreams. And ringed around her beauty, Her river falls a waterfall, A crashing, and a shimmering, A horn's call to love. Dancing in my dreams I see her, And wish to dance at her side, When I step onto the dance floor, The whole dream fades away. But I know that someday, still I will meet my angel face to face, And in that time we shall dance, As the world around us fades away. |
