The Ways are dark, but not with mist,
For on their dark islands and bridges,
Roams the spirit of Machin Shin,
Who knows what he is, why he hunts,
For the spirits of unfortunates in his domain,
He is madness, in spirit and whole,
Who knows what is his final goal?

The Lord of Dark, the prince of lies,
To many on earth, he holds their ties,
He grasps their lives in his hand,
But, yet they wander the land,
Looking for the Dragon Reborn,
Whose friend hath sounded the Horn,
The Horn, to call back from the grave,
It is the World they must try to save.
