Ben and Jerrys Half Baked Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Brownie
It was a silver day, nay, it was quite slippery, And what it wound down to was this: Ben and Jerry and I on the porch, Pondering the meaning of life. Ben said to me, in his polk-a-dot way, "Life is quite half baked." To which I replied, and very near cried, "Life... is more" here I paused deep in thought, "Like Chocolate." Jerry laughed at us and answered, "Plain chocolate I think not, nor baked by half." "But something with a little more life." "Cookie dough?" "Yes, chap that's it!" To which Ben added, "I do love brownies," Because my mom had walked in, bearing a load, To heavy to hold, so Ben dove right in. "So what do we have?" asked Ben at last, "For my grasp is shakey still..." To which I sighed, with tears in my eyes, "Life is, well... half baked, chocolate." "No, chocolate chip cookie dough!" And I glared at Jerry as he added to himself, "Brownies would taste good on my shelf." I rolled my eyes as I repeated us three, "Half baked chocolate chocolate chip cookie" And pausing for a breath I readied my self, And finished "Dough and brownie." We laughed, and cried, grined and sighed, Having found the meaning of life, So when the world is grim, Dig right in, Enjoy a little cream of ice! |
