All Alone

I walk down the streets alone this night,
None here to comfort me,
The way is empty, void of light,
A blindness prevents to see.

I beg and I weep to the sky,
Asking for an answer so clear,
None does it reply,
Adding double to my fear.

I stare at the street ahead,
And nowhere do I see light,
I wonder if I am dead,
And I hope that I am right.

The knife in my hand, a gun away,
The river so close tonight,
But my hand and my feet I stay,
Till sure the time is right.

I feel the need to weep my tears,
But none come to my eyes,
None to wash away my fears,
That make me want to die.

"Show me the way!" I cry out,
To the dark silent street,
None around hears my shout,
"The way..." my echoes repeat,

My feet reply to tearless sobs,
I tread through the dark.
All alone...
