Overheard the sky gathers shrouds, The moon not to be seen, Besides me a woman in clouds, Whispy as the ocean's sheen. Beauty incarnate inhabits her flesh, And true music her soul, To her warmth I press, To feel the never dying coals. Black ravens fly her head, As loam dances her eyes, And she warms my bed, Where never are heard cries. What sweet necter is to be found, Beneath her neck,Beneath her gown, Traveling down and down, In my thoughts I drown. But for one chance to place, Upon the face so beautiful, A kiss, ignorant of stakes, And commitments dutiful. The price is worth the pain, For the way to beautry locked, For the key to the plain, Where, hand in hand, we walked. |
