The software that powers this blog released a new major version which includes several excellent new features.

When I get home this evening, I'll be upgrading the site software. Users get access to the following features:
- weekly archives (and we get to set the start date; so folks living in Europe can start their weeks on Monday rather than Sunday
- more spam prevention tools on the member PM system
- add "report post to moderators" and "ignore member" functions to the discussion forum
Since I haven't used a discussion forum on this site, that last one won't really be relevant. I've toyed with adding a forum, though, if I start getting more regular content and discussion.
