that was fast
Driving to Le Job today, I saw the aftermath of an accident on the opposite side of the expressway: a school bus was sideways across two lanes of traffic (on its wheels, not on its side), and a dark-colored truck and a medium-blue SUV were on the side of the road. From reading news reports that contained the time of the accident, I figured that I drove past only a few minutes after the accident occurred. I can’t recall if either the truck or the SUV had any visible damage to front or rear. I was too busy watching the other rubberneckers, and making darn sure I didn’t cause problems for the other schoolbus which was about 20 feet ahead of me.
This, the day after the local newspaper prints a list of top driver gripes (poor mergers, carpool-lane cheats, cut-off artists, overly slow drivers, and so forth).
