Clearance Level: RedTuesday’s Child (full of grace, my foot)

Everyone makes divine mistakes

I just managed to utterly lose an entire entry. I have no idea how. (I probably closed the wrong browser window…dangit…)

Happy May Day!! The computers are working, the passwords are problematic, the cats are ‘nipped right into Blissville, I’ve got a family member going into surgery tomorrow, and it’s going to rain this evening. Other than that, it’s just another day in Paradise.

I spent most of the day communicating with tech support, asking them why I don’t have all the permissions I need to complete my work. My boss has mentioned, twice since I started, that they’re glad I’m with the team and being so proactive. Maybe all this goodwill I’m collecting will help when I ask for the time off in July and again around the Labor Day weekend.

For some annoying reason, I’ve been perpetually hungry the past two days. Not “on the verge of fainting”, just “hungry”. I’ve actually been losing weight, though I haven’t been eating much less and I haven’t been exercising as much as I’d like. Bizarre.

So, on to the important bits. Who’s noticed any changes in the design over the past week? Bueller? Bueller? (Speaking of changes, tomorrow’s Iterations has a suggested theme to the lists: changes, alterations, moments of transition (this link will be active first thing Wednesday morning). If you’ve been wanting to make a “spring cleaning” list, tally up what you’ve achieved so far this calendar year, or even relive a double handful of memories from your own life, come share your list! The round opens tomorrow morning at 1am Pacific. Just leave your comment and link, and you’ll be listed on that week’s round as well as on the front portal page.)
