And tomorrow, I start down...
The agency called, and I start tomorrow. I’ll get my badge, laptop, nametag for a nonexistent cubicle, instruction on how to set up my computer at home, introductions to any others with whom I’ll be working, possibly a walkthrough of the facilities (which are ginormous), and who knows what else. First days are rarely productive - but here’s hoping that I’ll be able to hit the ground running. That would impress the rest of the team, and possibly make it that much more likely that I’ll be able to take the job with me.
I finally went up a step in the contest; but I’ll need more votes to climb even higher. Thanks to everyone who’s voted for me!
In honor of my local weather warming up this week, I’ve tweaked the design slightly. I’m still not entirely done twiddling around...but I am taking a break to have dinner.
