Clearance Level: RedThis calls for a celebration

It's nearly the end of the week! And I haven't screamed once!!

Today, I am halfway through Le Job. I have done half of the time I agreed to spend on this disorganized, noncommunicative, hassled, overworked, under-peopled team. (And tomorrow’s Friday, to boot.)

I have saved up about five hundred dollars toward my move to Seattle, and another two hundred for this year’s Dragon*Con festivities/flight/hotel.

My cats are looking better and acting happier two weeks after I started feeding them better food. Ursa, in particular: he appears to have lost a tiny bit of weight, and his coat is glossier. All three are more playful and active. (It’s Felidae premium, for those who are curious.)

My movie order arrived today: Catch Me If You Can, which is a nice cute movie; Alien, great gothic horror; and its sequel Aliens…which I could not find available by itself. If you wanted to own the second movie, you absolutely had to buy whole series (half of which is Not That Good). Finally, I broke down and bought from Powells.

I had a few glitch-ups with the Iterations site yesterday, and only one person’s participated thus far…but, then again, one person has participated, so for a site that’s only been operational for seven days, that isn’t so bad. Now I have to remember how to create the proper code for the standalone registration form. (Once upon a time I knew that…ah well, time to re-learn.)

If there's monetary gain involved, it isn't god.
