“March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb.” Yeah, well, this year’s March apparently got those directions mixed up. We had very little rain this past February, so the first days of March were placid, peaceful, even unseasonably warm. This week, we had a quick spring storm system move through: we got showers one day last week, rain and scattered thunderstorms yesterday, and today has been incredibly windy.
On the other hand, I couldn’t help noticing that the sky near the horizon is actually blue. Not brown-ugh, not light blue. Blue. Vivid blue. All the storms cleaned out the valley air!! (Though that probably won’t last through the weekend.)
