When you want to convince someone else that your point of view is right (or that their point of view is not right) and you find yourself insulting them directly…you’ve lost. Step off the soapbox and walk away. Whoever they are, they won’t listen once you’ve started insulting them. Even if they’re the biggest fucking loser in all the levels of the multiverse and everyone knows it…once you start attacking them directly, you’ve stopped arguing for the merits of the particular idea. You’ve just started flinging poo.
