Clearance Level: RedRecall Gov. Davis: um….‘scuse me?

When in debt, spend $20 million more.

1 of 1 pages

The state of California is already in fiscal crisis.

A recall campaign costs approximately USD$20 million.

So why aren’t we just waiting the three more years until the next scheduled CA gubernatorial election, when Davis will have to leave the governor’s mansion either way because of term limits?

Because some asshat — or a whole passel of them — actually thinks that by putting a different person in the governor’s mansion, the California economy will magically fix itself. San Francisco will no longer be the fastest-shrinking city in the United States. The Bay Area will once again have jobs for the workers, many of whom have been living off of unemployment for the last year, supplemented with the occasional temporary job. Everything will be golden again.

What are they on and where can I get some?
