I am feeling so much better. Last Thursday was fairly wretched; Friday was a little bit better, but still not awesome. My mom came and drove me over to their house, though, and I spent the weekend resting, with other people to lift things, and sleeping on a better-quality mattress. My parents are loaning me their guest bed (while my two-year-old queen futon is now my "sofa") while I save up to buy a new bed. And while I still can't sit for very long, I'm able to walk about, and I'm staying ahead of the pain.

All kinds of things happened while I've been otherwise occupied. She tagged me, and SJ gave me a Thinking Blogger award. I plan to carry both of these memes forward...as soon as I have time to make a good, quality post. I don't want to push myself so far that I set my recovery back.
My sincere sympathies for anyone who's enduring muscle-skeletal pains. It's hideous. But when you have friends and family to help out and wish you well...things are just a tiny bit easier.
