Holidailies. I'm not just a participant. I'm also a reader.

Some Holidailies entries, which I’ve enjoyed, posted by other participants:

Why Are Dogs Better than Cats at Interviewing God
This entire site is a Carlinesque, tongue-in-cheek interview with God. Thoughtful stuff slips through with the humor. Readers can ask any question, and the Scribe will have God answer it. A few guidelines, though: life or death questions can be tricky. Everyone will die eventually. He prefers to keep some things unknown.
Also, don’t ask for winning lottery numbers or for the point spread on the big game. That’s cheating and He frowns on cheaters.

I would choose to do it again at My Silly Valley
Following the tragic loss of the family’s beloved dog, Kris shares a quote from Irving Townsend on the choices made by those who share our lives with animals.

Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we still would live no other way.

A swirlie in every bowl at Wicked Jaw noracharles shares her business idea to sell bottled toilet water to cats, having her cats Jum and Mow provide testimonials. Mousepants! at Are we there yet Lauren has some laundry issues. Well, mostly rodents-in-the-laundry issues. And then a wardrobe issue. Crazy ‘bout a sharp-dressed blog at The Write Coast SJD shares template-angst, along with a nice new holiday dress (for the blog, that is). I have fun skimming through the list of new entries. People have been coming up with some incredibly clever taglines that reel me in. Holidailies also has their own “best of“ listing, in which a panel of reader-judges reads through all the entries from each day (good grief, what a task) and decides upon some of the very best. I’ve enjoyed making my own “best of” list, though.
