It crept in on little cat feet, and invited us outside...
This morning when I woke up, it was foggy. This doesn’t often happen in this area, so it was pretty neat. The fog, combined with the layout of Treehouse Central, gave me the illusion of being even more isolated than ever. I was afraid that if I waited for the coffee to brew the fog would be gone, so I threw on my sweats, got some yogurt, and sat on the patio enjoying the view, the quiet, and the morning light filtering through the fog and the trees. I had been out there for about ten minutes when I glanced at my neighbors’ patios and noticed that four of them were also outside taking in the morning. No one was conversing, no one was talking on their cellphone, no one was listening to their ipod…nada. We all just enjoyed the silence. The fog actually hung around until around 9 am. The coffee was fairly wretched...but the morning was lovely.
