...thank goodness.
Wah!! I’m still sore, and still can’t sit up for long, and still have to ice my back (and probably will for the next week)...but today I am so much better than I was yesterday! I was able to attend a meeting for work via speakerphone, and was able to sit up long enough, without any pain, to get two trouble tickets answered (create some new web pages, update the incident, make some other minor changes, fix a Perl form script). I was also able to actually *visit* some others’ sites, which I wasn’t really able to do last week.
I’m just four votes away from moving up a place in the rankings for the Blog for a Year contest! (However, at the rate the person above me gets votes, if I pass them, it probably won’t be for very long…) Hopefully, in the next few days, I’ll be able to pull ahead a bit. That would be kind of nice - especially since the field of entrants is growing, and the newer people aren’t just sitting there. I’ve got over 220 votes so far; but the person currently in first place has over 4,000. The next-highest person has just under 25% of that amount - there’s a HUGE gap between first and second place.
Now, though, it’s been 30 minutes, and I’m not pushing things. Back to laying on the icepad…
