Wildlife refuge or BTV? You decide.
As I type this, there are seven birds on my patio: two on the feeder near the door, three on the newly-filled sunflower feeder hanging off the patio, and two on the patio itself, getting millet spilled — or thrown — from the other feeder.
The cats are going crazy. I give Fog two hours until she loses her voice from all the chattering she’s doing. She is going to be a very tired cat. They all are, actually: half the time, they’re in stealth-mode. Never mind that they know full well that there’s a door between them and the birds. They’re very hopeful that I’ll open the door at some point, or that the door will magically disappear…in which case they need to be poised to pounce on the birdies who sit outside, sucking down the seeds’n'suet, thrilled to find food.
