Most of the April Fool’s Day activity that goes on around the ‘Net is about as subtle as a hardcore porn mag. You can often easily discern the virtual prankage by the gentle odor of bullshit that wafts from your monitor. It’s rare that people approach quality slapstick, satire, or deft mockery.
Thank the forty-nine little ghods for these folks. Their day to day snark is such that it’s not always as easy to detect the Foolery…or that it seems much less like being smacked between the eyes with the Obvious Stick.
